BJP Asks Mayors To Ensure Proper Dengue Arrangements & Sanitation In MCD Hospitals

The Delhi BJP Monday directed Mayors of all the three Municipal Corporations and Health Chairpersons to do daily inspection to ensure sanitation and proper arrangements for tackling Dengue in MCD Hospitals.

Addressing a joint Press Conference here, Delhi BJP chief Satish Upadhyay and leader of Opposition in the Delhi Assembly, Vijender Gupta said,” In order to tackle the dengue situation,the party would organise blood camps to ensure full time blood availability for the patients.”

Gupta demanded that the Delhi Government prosecute the five private hospitals responsible for recent death of a seven-year old boy due to dengue, which led to suicide by his parents. ”If the Delhi government fails to prosecute the erring hospitals, we demand that the state health Minister should resign with immediate effect,” they said.
