Campaign Launched For Tuberculosis Free India In Next Five years

Union Government Thursday launched a campaign to make the country Tuberculosis (TB) free in the next five years.

Launching the campaign Call to Action for TB free India, Health Minister J P Nadda said, his Ministry will reach the undetected patients and provide free and full treatment.

He said, India have nearly 25 per cent of TB patients of the world. Nadda said, his Ministry will launch a massive media campaign for awareness for the people.

The Minister said, government will also launch a toll free number in the next two to three month for TB patients who can avail guidance from health workers by giving a missed call on that number.
