Andhra Pradesh government has set up control rooms in Delhi and Hyderabad to provide information about Telugu people stranded in earth quake hit Nepal.
About 130 tourists from different districts who have gone on pilgrimage are stranded in Nepal. 52 tourists from West Godavari District and 40 from Krishna district went to Nepal on pilgrimage.
The information about tourists from Guntur district and also a 20-member Film Production Unit are being collected. The state authorities are in touch with the officials of External Affairs Ministry for brining all of them safely back home.
The round the clock help-line number in Delhi is 011-23782388, while the control room number in Andhra Pradesh Secretariat in Hyderabad is 040-23456005.
Telangana state Government is also in touch with the External Affairs Ministry and also with the Indian Embassy in Nepal to bring back 28 stranded tourists and 40 Indian students of Bharatpur Medical College in Nepal.
