Forty-nine persons from Assam are still remained untraceable in Nepal following the Saturday’s tremor.
The CEO of the Disaster Management Authority said that 19 persons from Assam have been rescued and brought to Delhi. He said that the Assam government is in touch with the NDRF to safely rescue the missing persons.
Meanwhile, local media reports that one person was died in tremor yesterday in Darrang district.
Officials of the Disaster Management are trying to ascertain the fact. Disaster Management authority has urged people to dial 1070 to register missing complaint. Family members of those persons who went to Nepal are anxiously waiting for them.
