Fodder Scam: Lalu Yadav appears in special CBI court

Former Bihar Chief Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav today appeared before the special CBI court here in connection with four different cases in the multi-crore fodder scam case.

Yadav appeared before the court of special CBI judge Shivpal Singh in connection with case number RC 64A/96 and case number 38 A/96. While case number RC 64A/96 is related to fraudulent withdrawal of Rs 90 lakh from Deoghar Treasury, case number 38A/96 is concerned with withdrawal of Rs 3.97 crore from Dumka Treasury.

He also appeared in the court of special judge S S Prasad in connection with case number RC 68A/96 which is related to withdrawal of Rs 37 crore from Chaibasa treasury.

Yadav also appeared in the court of special CBI judge Pradeep Kumar in case number RC 47A/96 which is related to withdrawal of Rs 139 crore from from Doranda Treasury of Ranchi. In case number 64A/96 and 68A/96 two witnesses from the side of Lalu Yadav disposed before the court while in case number 38A/96 a witness from the side of former chief minister Jagannath Mishra one witness recorded his statement. In case number 47A/96 the CBI presented one of its witnesses before the court.
