The Tourist Visa on Arrival-Electronic Travel Authorization scheme will be renamed to e-Tourist Visa from tomorrow, Wednesday .

A Home Ministry release said, it has been observed that the current name of the scheme is creating confusion among tourists and they presumed as if the Visa is being granted on arrival.

It said, the extension of the scheme to more countries and airports will be in a phased manner, in order to avoid any confusion.
