Themed around `Make in India’ programme, more than 300 Indian companies will scout for foreign manufacturing partners in the world famous engineering fair `Hannover Messe 2015 in Germany, which will be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow, Monday .
India is the partner country in the fair this year, which would provide it a global platform to showcase its engineering prowess, skilled manpower and shift in economic environment and ease of doing business.Fourteen state governments are also participating through six seminars; and over 120 top Indian CEOs would attend the two-day long fair which will conclude on April 17.
Different ministries of NDA government which include DIPP, Heavy Industry, Urban Development, New and Renewable Energy, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship will hold seminars to woo investors for Modis pet programmes like Make in India, Smart Cities and Digital India.
More than 150 business delegation from all over the world who are likely to participate in the world’s biggest industrial fair will also get a chance to taste Indian cuisine which is included in the list of fair display to provide impetus of promoting India as a unique tourist destination.
Indian cuisine by 40 renowned chefs from leading six hotel chains such as Taj Group, The Oberoi Group, ITC Hotels, Marriott, Leela Hotels and Hyatt Hotels would be on offer for the foreign investors.
