IPL-08 : Mumbai Indians Takes On Chennai Super Kings At Wankhede 8 PM

17 April, Mumbai

In the IPL, Mumbai Indians will take on Chennai Super Kings at Mumbai’s Wankhede stadium today- Friday.

Today’s match is important for Mumbai Indians.

Mumbai Indians have lost all their three matches played so far in the tournament. They were beaten by Rajasthan Royals in Ahmedabad by seven wickets, by Kings XI Punjab at home by 18 runs and by Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL opener in Kolkata by seven wickets.

Whereas CSK have won the two matches they played so far, beating Delhi Daredevils by one run and Sunrisers Hyderabad by 45 runs. Both fixtures were held in Chennai.

Mumbai India would try their best to win the match to open their account in the Points table.

Riding on Ajinkya Rahane’s half century, Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by six wickets at Vishakhapatnam last night to notch up their fourth consecutive win in this edition of the IPL cricket tournament.

Chasing a modest 128 for a win, the table-toppers made heavy weather of the run chase, achieving the target on the last delivery of the match.

The Hyedrabad bowlers did well to take the match thus far but Rahane’s 56-ball 62 proved to be the difference between the two sides.

Earlier, Rajsthan bowlers Dhawal Kulkarni and Pravin Tambe picked up two wickets each to restrict Hyedrabad to 127 for five in 20 overs.
