IPL-08 : RCB Beat Rajasthan Royals By 9 wickets

In the IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore defeated table toppers Rajasthan Royals by 9 wickets at Ahmedabad Friday night.

Put into bat first, Rajasthan was restricted to a low total of 130 for 9 due to a disciplined bowling show from Bangalore. Mitchell Starc snapped three wickets for RCB while Harshal Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal took two each.

Bangalore raced to victory in just 16.1 overs. Bangalore rode on unbeaten second wicket 98-run partnership between skipper Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers to snap their three-match losing streak and hand over second successive loss to Rajasthan.

In today’s matches, Mumbai Indians will take on Sunrisers Hyderabad at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai at 4 PM and Chennai Super Kings will meet Kings Eleven Punjab at 8 PM in Chennai.
