Braving rough weather of late in his typical irrepressible manner, RJD chief Lalu Prasad today got a breath of fresh air when he emerged as the first leader of Bihar to be credited with two million followers on his official Twitter account.
Expressing gratitude to his followers over joining “Two millionaires club’ on Twitter, Mr Prasad tweeted, “First Bihari to join 2-M Club in the present period. Thanks for your love and support”.
Prasad and his family members have faced with series of actions by central agencies for allegedly amassing benami properties worth crores of rupees but he has shown his mettle by attacking his political opponents through social media, virtually on a daily basis.
Prasad`s main targets have been Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP, its ideological mentor RSS and friend-turned foe and Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. After the expose of nearly Rs 1,300 crore Srijan scam in the state, Kumar besides interacting directly with media persons also had taken to his twitter account to attack Chief Minister Kumar and his deputy Sushil Kumar Modi alleging their complicity in the scam.
