Modi Speaks To CM’s of Bihar, UP, MP , Sikkim To Take Stock of Situation Arising Due To Quake

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoke to Chief Ministers of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Sikkim in the wake of earthquake.

Modi has convened a high level meeting with Ministers and top officials at 3 PM in the wake of the situation arising due to the Earthquake.

Modi in a tweet said, government is in the process of finding more information on quake and is working to reach out to those affected, both at home and in Nepal.r

Modi is also trying to reach Prime Minister of Nepal Sushil Koirala, who is abroad. Modi has spoken to President of Nepal Ram Baran Yadav. The Prime Minister contacted the Indian Embassy in Bhutan which is in touch with top Bhutan officials.

The Centre has placed its disaster response agencies like NDRF on alert.
