MP Lokayukta Raids On Houses of Managers Of Two Cooperative Societies On Charges Of Amassing Disproportionate Property

Madhya Pradesh Lokayuktas Special Police Establishment Saturday conducted raids on the premises of managers of two cooperative societies in Raisen district on the charges of amassing property disproportionate to their known sources of income, Lokayukta sources said.

The raids were conducted at Sunbaha Cooperative Society Manager Ramkishan Vishwakaras residence at Begamganj and Seva Societys Manager Vinod Yadavs residence at Obaidullaganj.

The raids began at 0400 hrs this morning and were continuing. So far, the raid at Vishwakarmas residence has yielded one kg gold. His house, which has around 30-40 tenants, is estimated to be worth around Rs 2 crore. Meanwhile, Vinods house is estimated to be worth around Rs 1.5 crore.
