The Odisha Finance Minister Pradip Kumar Amat started pre-budget discussion with experts and stake holders for the 2015-16 annual budget at Bhubaneswar Tuesday .
The Budget will be presented in the State Assembly on the 16th of next month.
According to officials sources, former finance ministers, former finance secretaries and senior officials of the Finance Department are present in the first phase meeting, while representatives of different trading units will be present in the second phase of the meeting.
Finance Minister of Odisha, Pradip Amat, had recently said that the state has been passing through financial crisis while reduced Central assistance had affected its development.
He, however, said this will not affect the size of the state budget as the government is trying for financial assistance from other sources.
