PM Modi Signs ‘Golden Book’at Hannover City Hall,Thanks Germany For Warm Welcome

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday singed the ‘Golden Book’, consisting of the signatures of all the honoured guests of Hamburg, at the Hannover city hall and thanked Germany for giving him a warm welcome.

“I am thankful to the Mayor of Hanover that he honored and welcomed the representative of a country with population of 125crore. I am also thankful that he honored me in a building which is over 102 years old,” the Prime Minister said.

Targeting the Indian students in Germany, he said that the Indian youth is making a mark in the world.

“India is a land of ample opportunities. Modern India is walking towards development with its cultural heritage. The Indian youth is making a mark in the world, in information technology sector,” he added.

The Prime Minister was welcomed by a cheering crowd on his arrival at the city hall.
