Prime Minister Narendra Modi will hold talks with French President Francois Hollande in Paris Friday.
Modi arrived in Paris Thursday night on a three day visit to that country. The Prime Minister will discuss the Rafale fighter jets and Jaitapur Nuclear Power Plant issues with French President during his talks.
Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Syed Akbaruddin said that the two sides will also discuss the France Government offer on fighter jet Rafale and the Jaitapur Nuclear plant.
The Prime Ministers is having a Round Table meeting on Infrastructure in Paris with top business men from France. Later he will have another high profile meeting with CEOs of defence sector.
A large contingent of top Businessmen both from Private sector and Public sector are participating in the meeting with the prime minister. Already four task force have been set on key issues including Financing infrastructure projects which have long gestation periods and require huge investments along with on Energy and on, water.
Two nations are keen to take exiting defence relation to next level by expanding the defence industrial base and to strengthen the aerospace sector. France was the first western power to become a strategic partner for India.
After meeting with CEOs, the Prime Minister is scheduled to address the UNESCO.
