Prime Minister Narendra Modi will leave on a 9-day visit to France, Germany and Canada from tomorrow, Thursday . In the first leg of his visit, Modi will arrive in Paris tomorrow evening where a busy schedule of bilateral agenda awaits him.
In Paris, the Prime Minister will meet French President Francois Hollande and will also visit some high-tech industrial units including the aviation major Airbus facility in Toulouse. He will leave for Germany on Sunday and will inaugurate the Hannover Messe fair.
During this visit to Germany, the Prime Minister will be accompanied by five Union Ministers and Chief Ministers of Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra and Andhra Pradesh.
The Union Ministers accompanying him are Venkaiah Naidu, Ravishankar Prasad, Nirmala Sitharaman, Rajiv Pratap Rudy and Piyush Goyal.
Briefing media persons in New Delhi today, German Ambassador to India Michel Steiner said Modi will also be accompanied by a large contingent of Indian businessmen.
The main focus of the Prime Minister’s visit to Germany will be Make in India, renewal energy, smart cities, river cleaning and skill development. On the third leg of his visit, Mr Modi will arrive in Canada on the 14th of this month.
