Reliance Power Withdraws From Rs.35,000 Cr UMPP In Jharkhand

Anil Ambani’s Reliance Power has withdrawn from the Ultra Mega Power Project of Tilaiya in Jharkhand, due to delay in acquisition of land for power generation plant.

The project was of about thirty six thousands crores, and was to be established at Tilaiya in Hazaribagh district of Jharkhand.

The company had won the bid for about four thousands Mega Watt power project, and it had to supply the power at the cost of one rupees 77 paise per unit.
