Suspected Maoists Releases Five Out Of 11 Abducted Persons In Malkangiri Of Odisha

Suspected Maoists have released five out of the 11 abducted persons in Odisha .

Briefing media persons at Bhubaneswar Thursday , Odisha’s Director General of Police, Sanjeev Marik, said a total of eleven persons were abducted by suspected Maoists on last Monday night from villages under Kartanpalli panchayat of Mathili police station in Malkangiri district.

He said efforts are on to release other six persons. According to reports, the Maoists first released former block chairman of Mathili from Kartanpalli village Trinath Bhumia and Bonduku Golar this morning and later released three others.
