Three Cadre Maoists Surrenders Before Police In Odisha Monday

Three cadre Maoists Monday surrendered before the police in the Malkangiri district.

According to the police sources, the three ultras including one woman, surrendered as they were disillusioned with the maoist ideology. Each of the three red rebels carried cash reward of one lakh rupees each on their heads.

They were reportedly involved in about 30 cases of murder and blasts. One of them was allegedly involved in the naxal attack on Congress leaders in Sukma district of Chhattigsarh in 2013 in which more than 30 party leaders and workers were killed.

The surrendered ultras will be rehabilitated as per the government provision.
